Soaking Up the Sun at the Pool is Fun!
The Waynesboro Water Park & Pool is a swimming complex that was built in 1974.  It features a 168,000 gallon pool with a 150 ft slide, a 20ft slide, an 11 ft diving area, and a kiddie pool with a slide, play gym and a rain umbrella.  Red Cross Certified Lifeguards are on duty daily.  
Everyone who enters the pool is required to pay a general admission fee of $5.00 (per person) - swimmer or non-swimmer.  A $7.00 admission fee is required for those who choose to ride the big slide. Children 3yrs and under are admitted free.  Sunday admission fee is $5.00 each person and includes the big slide.  We offer an individual year-pass for $125.00 that can be purchased at the pool or at Waynesboro City Hall.  We do not allow visitors of guests to enter for any reason.  Animals, other than guide and service animals, are not permitted.
A snack bar is available offering drinks, candy, chips, ice cream, nachos, pizza, hotdogs and other various snack foods.  A designated eating area is provided.  We require all foods and drinks to be consumed in the eating area only. We do not allow food or drinks to be on the pool deck.
The following rules and regulations have been established for the benefit of all users of the pool to assure the safe operation of the facilities and to provide safe, enjoyable recreation for all. Patrons are requested to cooperate in observing these rules and to obey the instructions of the lifeguards and staff. Patrons violating swimming rules are subject to the revocation of their swimming privileges. 

DECK CHAIRS & SUN LOUNGERS
We offer a limited number of deck chairs on a first come-first serve basis at no cost with admission.  Sun Loungers are accessible for $3.00 each; payment required at admission.  (Limited Availability)      
MUST BE 13YRS OR OLDER TO ENTER ALONE!
Children under 13yrs of age are not allowed to be admitted without being accompanied by an adult for supervision (18yr or older). The adult is required to stay with the minor for the duration.  All minor children (12yrs and under) are the responsibility of the parent/guardian during their visit at the pool. 
MUST BE 42 " TALL TO RIDE THE BIG SLIDE!
You must be 42" tall to ride the big slide.  If under 42",  one must be able to swim.  All guests who choose to ride the big slide will be given a wrist band granting access to do so.  Those without bands are disallowed access for any reason. All riders must use the provided tubesWe prohibit riding without a tube. Riders are required to sit on their bottoms with legs and feet forward.  Backwards or tummy riding is strictly forbidden. Babies and toddlers are strongly banned from riding, even with a parent or guardian.  Failure to comply can result in being banned from big slide.If height requirement is met by a non-swimmer or a not-so-strong swimmer, he/she is eligible to ride but are required to wear a life jacket when doing so.  Pool life preservers are currently not available.  Therefore, if your child will require a life preserver to ride the big slide, you will need to bring one. Puddle-Jumpers are allowed. Blow-up arm floaties are not allowed. The small slide is available for all swimmers!  No wrist bands are necessary.  All riders are to go down on their bottoms-feet forward. Backwards or tummy riding is not allowed. Only one rider at a time.  Toddlers are allowed to ride in the lap of a parent or guardian, but not with another child.  Failure to comply can result in removal from use of small slide.
PERSONAL COOLERS ARE ALLOWED!
We allow personal coolers with food and drinks! We simply ask you to bring it with you when entering and stored in the designated area until use. We require all food items be consumed in the designated eating area only.  If you have a large group, access can be given to picnic at the pavilion. Prior permission is required so just ask!Please be aware all alcoholic beverages and illegal substances are forbidden on pool grounds. Discovery will result in police notification. No exceptions. 
NO PASSES OUT! 
We do not allow passes out for any reason! Leaving the premises to acquire food or drinks from an outside source is not allowed after admission.   Therefore, be sure to bring all necessities when entering gate.  If you choose to leave the property, admission will be required once again upon re-entering  pool premises.  
NO PERSONAL FLOATS ALLOWED!
Due to space allowance, we do not allow personal floats, water lounges or recliners; large swim rings or tubes; blow up rafts, etc.  However, we do allow pool noodles and small infant floats 36" in diameter and smaller.
OTHER ACTIONS NOT ALLOWED!
Please be aware, no running on the pool deck or diving off the sides, Shoulder-sitting, shoulder-standing, dunking, boisterious or rough play are also prohibited.  No throwing or tossing of toys, balls,  or other objects while in the pool. Results could result in sever accidents or injuries to the participants or other swimmers or by-standers. Also, spitting, spouting of water, blowing nose or urinating in the pool is prohibited.  
THE KIDDIE POOL AREA!
Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and well-being of their children inside the kiddie pool area while using the pool and playset. NO food or drinks allowed inside the kiddie pool area for any reason!  Again, we require all coolers to be stored outside the kiddie area at the designated area. Diapered children are not allowed to enter the pool area wearing disposable or cloth diapers- Swim diapers are required before pool use
ABOUT TOBACCO USE!
For the consideration of others, smoking is permitted in the smoking area only (located at the picnic tables).  We ask people to restrain from vaping on the pool deck and use the designated area as well. Smoking outside the front entrance is prohibited also. 
OBEY ALL POOL RULES & LIFEGUARDS!
Please be sure to read the pool rules posted before entering. Any injury occurring in the pool area must be reported to a lifeguard or the pool management immediately. Any child or adult who does not comply with the recommendations/warnings of the lifeguards can or will be asked to sit out for a limited time or be asked to leave. Non-compliance will require notification of a police escort off the property. Waynesboro Water Park & Pool is not liable for accidents that may occur while visiting the premises.
