Rental Agreement

This is a rental agreement with the City of Waynesboro/Water Park and Pool and any individual or organized group choosing to rent the Waynesboro Water Park & Pool for a private event. POOL & WATER PARK SPECIFIC RENTAL RULES 1. All rental fees are to be paid in full in one transaction at the pool to secure date desired. 2. We do not reserve dates without full payment. 3. Cash or Check Only ~ Debit or credit cards are not accepted.4. Renters are responsible for the supervision and conduct of their family and guests.5. An adult must supervise minors under the age of 13 at all times.6. Animals, other than guide dogs, are not permitted inside the pool fence.7. No food or drinks will be allowed on the pool deck or in the kiddy pool area.8. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are allowed on the property.9. No person may enter or stay on the property in an intoxicated condition; police will be contacted immediate for removal.10. Diapered children are not allowed to enter the pool area wearing disposable or cloth diapers ~Swim diapers only please~.11. For the consideration of others, smoking is only permitted in the smoking area located on the hill at the picnic tables behind the kiddy pool area.12. If damages are made to the property or furnishings during your rental time (i.e., broken chairs, tables, etc.) a damage fee will be assessed.13. All posted rules must be followed and lifeguard commands must be obeyed. 14. The pool management reserves the right to request the departure of the renter, invited guest, visitors, etc. to immediate exit the premises for any reason(s) of actions deem unsafe, inappropriate conduct/behavior or destruction of pool property. The police will be contacted immediate for removal.
CANCELLATIONS/INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS Waynesboro Pool & Water Park goes by the national storm safety guidelines from NLSI, Red Cross, YMCA, and the National Weather Service to protect patrons from a possible weather related injury. 1) Evacuate the outdoor/indoor pool immediate at the first sound of thunder; thunder is the sound of lightning. 2) Wait 30 minutes after each observed thunder or lightning before resuming swimming pool activities. Unfortunately, the evacuation time will count as part of the paid rental time. *If for some reason the Waynesboro Water Park & Pool cancels the reservation prior to the rental time due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the renter will be able to reschedule event for an available later date. No refunds. *Renters also have the option to cancel the party due to inclement weather and reschedule for an available later date. No refunds. *Parties may be cancelled, by management or renter, no later than 1 hour before scheduled reservations due to an emergency or inclement weather (inclement weather is defined as a high percentage of a chance of rain/storms or weather warnings issued by the National Weather Service). An alternate available date will be scheduled. To cancel, renters must contact the pool at (931) 722-2860 or send a message via Facebook. No refunds. *If the party is cancelled due to inclement weather after the party has started, the renter will be able to reschedule the remaining time left on another available date or forfeit time remaining. No partial or full refunds will be granted. RENTER SETUP:1. Renters may arrive at pool no sooner than 15 minutes before their scheduled time. Setup is the responsibility of the individual or group renting the facility within their rental period.2. We welcomed the renter to bring food, drinks, birthday cakes, cookies, and other supplies.3. No glass containers are permitted. 4. Refrigerator space is not available. 5. Decorations must be plastic. Do not decorate with crape paper or anything that would leave stains if it were to get wet.6. Silly String and glitter are prohibited.7. All black wrought iron furniture must remain in the covered eating area.8. All pool furniture must remain on the pool deck (i.e., plastic deck chairs, umbrellas, trash cans, etc.)9. No grills or other cooking devices are permitted, except for crockpots. 10. No open flames are allowed (i.e., candles, tiki torches, pyrotechnics and the like.) RENTER CLEANUP:1. Cleanup is the responsibility of the individual or group renting the facility within their rental time period.2. Renter must begin clean up 15 minutes prior to their party’s ending time.3. Renter will be responsible for any damage to equipment, property, furniture, etc.4. Renter must remove all party supplies from the premises immediately following the event. 5. Renter must collect all trash left behind and place in the trash cans provided.6. All deck furniture moved from its original position must be returned to their original place when the event has ended.7. All food particles on concrete must be cleaned away. Brooms are available for your use.8. It is expected that you, the renter, leave the pool area and deck clean.9. Failure to clean up could result in the approval of any future rentals.

Please Note: Waynesboro Water Park & Pool reserves the right to cancel, change date, alter reservation time, or reschedule any previously scheduled rental due to any unforeseen circumstance deemed necessary.
